Pink Crudge Caravan create a rowdy mixture of psychedelic grunge - we call it Crudge - with a mission to play an exciting cacophony of rock and roll at its very best. Our songs are original and have been described as moving around with an energy, style and zest not seen since George Best plied his trade on the footy field.
Highlights of 2011 included: all the gigs at Camden's Dublin Castle playing alongside our friends The Unbreakables; waving goodbye to Tom Brown's schooldays; rehearsing, recording, recording, rehearsing; finding Daisy the photographer; and knowing that whatever else happens rock and roll and Jim's hair are both here to stay.
The original run of our debut EP released 15th September featuring 4 tracks from the original Wincraft sessions has all but gone, let us know if you would like one of the last remaining copies. We are busy in the studio as we speak and aim to have our next effort out later this year.
Life as a four piece is, from a Caravan point of view, just about as good as a prime spot on the seafront at Minehead and when ZZ Top wrote a song about a sharp dressed man they could only have been thinking about Jimbo Mackness.
Maybe 2012 will be the year of The Crudge, we'll keep trying as long as you keep coming !
